About Opening a "New Quizzes" Quiz 

There are several areas where you are able to open a “New Quizzes” quiz. The most common locations to view “New Quizzes” are in the Calendar, course Modules, or in the Assignment Index.

Other locations may include:

  • Dashboard To-Do List
  • Course Home Page To-Do List
  • Syllabus
  • Course Grades page

 

Opening a “New Quizzes” Quiz

To open a “New Quizzes,” look for the Assignment icon and click on the quiz name.

All quizzes are assignments in Canvas. If you see the Assignments link in the Course Navigation bar, “New Quizzes” can be found there. The due date, availability date, and point value are listed below the quiz title.

To begin taking a “New Quizzes” quiz, simply press the "Begin" button on the quiz page.
